View Full Version : Index page drop in Yahoo with ranks - inner pages exists

Hi,

Few of my sites index pages are dropped from yahoo and the ranks as well.But the inner pages of the sites are existing in yahoo index. What might be the reason for this? could any one help me out?

Looking forward for expert suggestions...

Hello Thomas,

The search engine could be doing an update on the listings, which sometimes removes the homepage.

Last week I noticed a few of my websites main index page was not listed on google or yahoo. However this week it is back to normal.

Just relax, it will come back soon. Sometimes I experience that but come back after a week.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your valuable responses.. I had got my site index pages back, but didn't get back the earlier ranks. No ranks at all in search results for home pages of those yet. Will I get back those ranks as well after sometime or had my rankings got dropped? Do I need to recheck my optimization?

Is happening to me too, all indexes are gone from yahoo :(

Hi,

My site ranks are not yet back, though index pages had back.Earlier we were in top 10. Now no where in yahoo. And our site page optimization is good enough. Could anyone help me?

My pages are back in Yahoo, just wait, I think Yahoo is doing some updates.

My pages are gone too...!!
I was ranked on FIRST page, now it is nowhere...!!

Hello everyone, first post, i am a beginner and found this forum while searching for an answer to why did my website disappear from yahoo search.

My problem is a bit different (or is it the same?) because ALL of the pages from my website have disappeared from yahoo, not just the index.

It was an just update, the same problem was with all of my websites, everything is back to normal now, index pages are there.
