No this isn't PPC, it isn't available to UK yet and is still in beta as you probably know.
Also moneymakingguru, Overture \ Yahoo advertising services (you know the one similiar to adwords) has been in UK all along so cannot see the point of this post?

On this page: http://www.omguk.com/partners/yahoo_search_marketing.asp
appears: "Through OMG, approved publishers can now integrate Yahoo! Search Marketing advertising content into their sites."
Is this a kind of Revenue Sharing ? using the OMG affiliate on Yahoo ?

Colly, this is exactly the same as Google Adsense, only difference is it is Yahoo. If you join OMGUK, you will be able to apply to put Yahoo Content Ads on your websites, and earn revenue per click. So it is PPC earnings.
I know that you can put ads as an advertiser with Yahoo Marketing. It has always been there. I think you need to read properly... and i hope this is not you who put a red rep to my account.
look at this image. http://tinyurl.com/yrpftb

ajsa, what this means is, you will join yahoo network via OMGUK, which will take a fraction of that earnings, it will still be a good %... definitely can match Google.

Oh I read it properly, and YPN still is not available to UK publishers.
Also don't 'I hope it's not you' threat me in a post, I have better things to do than to bad rep people, next time pm and ask me.
Intresting to see other peoples thoughts after they have signed up..
EDIT - I have just re-read and it seems OMGUK take a small % of earning (I mean why you let someone take a % if you could sign up yourself?)
moneymakingguru is OMGUK your site? if not are they bending the rules - ie making out the sites are theres when infact they belong to an overseas person?

I m just responding to people in UK who wants to be part of the YPN. That is all i know. Put it this way, people who wants to be in YPN, joins OMGUK and get paid for publishing Yahoo's ads, and then get paid..
When YPN formally get into UK, these people will get into YPN easier than people who has got a database (website) wilth Yahoo. Because when you join OMGUK and apply to join Yahoo Search Marketing, you will be subject to approve by Yahoo... So in short this is actually a shortcut. IMHO.
Anyway, if you are not interested then let others who are interested do what they want.
Have a great weekend Colly.

Not exactly YPN, but its Yahoo's version of Adsense. And some people are happy to join it. Whether this satisfy your YPN wish or not its up to you to judge.
I am just providing a piece of information. People who are satisfied with it pm me and ask me for my referral link to thank me for telling them, but i do not ask for that.
If you want you can just join from straight from the Omguk link at the opening post. So i do not expect any reward for this. Purely informative for UK webmasters who long for YPN.. This is the next best alternative. The closest thing to YPN.
I m sorry if the subject has confused people, my apologies.
Once again, the proof is at http://www.omguk.com/partners/yahoo_search_marketing.asp, please read every sentence carefully. And if you want to join, just click on "sign up" on the top right corner. Simple as that, and I do not get paid for telling you all these.. And no, this is not my site. This is an established company who operates in quite a few countries in Europe.
taken from the site:
Yahoo! Search Marketing (formerly known as Overture) is one of the most respected and widely used pay-per-click providers. Through OMG, approved publishers can now integrate Yahoo! Search Marketing advertising content into their sites.
Subject to meeting Yahoo’s acceptance criteria, OMG can help you maximise revenue from your sites with easily implemented content and a highly competitive revenue share.
OMG’s Yahoo! Search Marketing service provides:
Contextual advertising modules, based on hand selected keywords.
Highly relevant contextual advertising tailored to the content of your site as well as to user profile.
Payment per click, with highly competitive revenue share.
Opportunity to monetise pages across a huge range of search categories.
Easily customisable fonts, colours and layout to suit your design.
but it is not ypn.
Blue ninja, like i said again, purely informative.. I dun get paid for putting up this post. Up to you to judge.
This is just another promotion of an affiliate network.

Your thread title is a little misleading. YPN is still NOT available to UK residents. This is just a way to use a third-party to have their YPN ads on your site and you get a cut.

I agree and i did apologized. However i cannot change the subject line now.
But bearing in mind, that is the closest thing to YPN.. and once Yahoo accept you in this network, when YPN officially comes into UK, you should be approved much easier.

It is only a company using the YPN feed, many ppc company and domain parking company using the YPN feed. But it doesn't mean the YPN

I don't think YPN went international as yet, but it would be great if they could do so quickly. I see a lot of satisfied YPN users here, and besides, would like to change from Google to see the difference in income myself.

To be honest, most of the stuff I've read about YPN isn't overly positive so whilst I was holding out waiting for them to come to the UK, I'm not so sure anymore :(
