Problem on Yahoo Messenger! Need help

I don't think if it is approriate to post here,but I cannot find any ways/help on the net I need really to post it here.. Here's the problem...

On my yahoo messenger, when someone send me message with a link, the link wont open on my browser? Any help... Along also with Gtalk... Any links sent to me through PM or in conferences, when Click does not open in any of my browser?... Could it be windows blocking it? I have googled it but I cannot find the right term searching for the solution.... Any help you can render me, is very much appreciated.. Any links can help me, pls post it here..

I'm sure your answer is this -
Make Firefox or Internet Explorer your Default Browser, (hope you know how to do that)
Just open the Browser, go to Tools Menu --> Options --> and make the required Changes
