My current Playstation 3 website www.ps3center.net just got listed into the Yahoo Directory!
The listing: http://dir.yahoo.com/Recreation/Games/Video_Games/Systems_and_Platforms/Sony_PlayStation/PlayStation_3/
What should I expect from it? Any ranking changes etc?
I`m already listed on dmoz.org and I have many many google backlinks.
Which directory is said to be more effective? Yahoo or DMOZ?

I submitted roughly 2 weeks ago or even less. It was fairly quick. I thought that I'd have to wait a few months since I wasn't paying the $299.
I guess the free submissions works as well :D

Your website is commercial, how come you submitted without payment?

Yahoo! Directory drastically improves your rankings in Yahoo!'s search engine.
DMOZ benefits and may improve your listings in Google.

Yahoo! Directory is paid one. But they entertain free submissions too. Its not possible for everyone to do paid submissions. So, Yahoo has an option for free submission with somethings written like it might take months to get reviewed etc etc.
