one word domians do they equal $$$

ok i have spoted a few one word domian names going for sale very very cheap with no traffic but its a dictionary word for example just say hosting.tv

the thing is its a .tv domian name. is there any protentional way to make money from purchasing this domian name? and how is it done?

Hosting.tv is decent. However, the extension itself is still weak.

Depends on the name. Hosting.tv is worth something, a crappy word.tv is worthless.

I'd simply stay away from the .tv extension. Since I believe most of the valuable one word names have been taken, it isn't exactly the cheapest reg fee you've got to pay for a .tv name which makes the whole business less worth doing.

If you find oneword domains, I think it is worth registering if you are developing it.

.tv domains are fashionable and stand out from other websites

I myself got dementia.tv , gout.tv etc..
