I need the following done:

Title: Logo
Description:
1. I need a logo for a Sonic The Hedgehog fan site.

2. The logo should say "Sonic Fighters". It's a fighting site, so it should have a fighting feel to it.

3. You can see examples of Sonic logos here (http://www.sonicresearch.org/art/art.php?currDir=./Logos). Along with the logo I need it to be in a banner with a good background design. You can add Sonic characters in the background if it looks better that way.

4. Under Sonic Fighters(in the banner) it should say Chat and Role Play Sonic Style.

5. So for you entry show me the logo, and then show me the logo with the banner.

One should say "Getting Started", another "Tell A Friend", another "Newsletter, and another "Donate".

They need to have a Sonic character in them, and have a good background.

Each button should have a different background(it can be recolors), and a different Sonic character.

The button should be a rounded rectangle.

Examples of the type of buttons I like are:

I reserve the right to close the contest without choosing a winner if I don't see any good designs. But I've seen some awesome designs here, so I doubt that will happen. I also reserve the right to choose a winner early and extend the deadline.

The logo doesn't have any fighting feel to it, and it's plain. I looking for logos like you see here (http://www.sonicresearch.org/art/art.php?pageType=folder&currDir=./Logos/Handheld), here (http://www.sonicresearch.org/art/art.php?pageType=folder&currDir=./Logos/GameCube_and_Playstation2), and the others logos here (http://www.sonicresearch.org/art/art.php?currDir=./Logos) that aren't plain.

the logos you linked have no fighting feel either, how would you like fighting feel injected into the design?

Basically it should be a logo that would go good with a fighting game. I really don't have any specifics except I want it more than just using a Sonic font and typing Sonic Fighters. Maybe have a fist or weapon in the logo, and/or an image of Sonic The Hedgehog in it or have one of the letters in Sonic Fighters resemble Sonic, for example have the S have quills on it like Sonic. You don't have to design what I said in the previous sentence, they are examples.

I would like something more with the font "Sonic Fighters", like add a background to it, make the S have quills in it like Sonic, things like that. You don't have to follow what I just said, they are just examples. My previous post gives good examples of what I'm expecting.

Ok, I guess I should be more specific now. After looking at the current logos, I don't like how there isn't much concentration on the words "Sonic Fighters". From now on I would like to see logos without Sonic images in it unless it's custom or else the logo comes out feeling like it's based off a current Sonic game or show.

What I'm expecting is to have Sonic's head or quills somewhere in the logo. It can be in the S of Sonic or partially behind Sonic Fighters. In the background of the logo should be flames or lightning or electricity or something that stands out like Rezki's did with the yellow background, except it should be behind Sonic Fighters. Then in the middle(or a place that's a good spot) of the logo could be a fist that comes out at the viewer.

I prefer seeing peoples own design, but currently there seems to be little concentration on "Sonic Fighters" and there's use of official Sonic images in the logo. That's fine with the banner, but not the logo. But if you have something cool in mind, then you can submit it.

I'm just not feeling that background design. Maybe it's the coloring because it still comes off as to dark. Also I would like some kind of border around the button, and for the button to be a rounded rectangle.

In Sonic Adventure, Sonic characters were redesigned these characters are referred to as SA style Sonic...
Classic Sonic is the retro styled Sonic characters...

I would like the buttons a rounded rectangle like on http://www.latale.com/ where you see the Fun Fun button in the right hand bottom. I don't like the background in your buttons(in my first post, I stated each background should be different(can be recolors)), the font doesn't go well with them, and the characters are to big except for the first one.

I prefer lighter backgrounds and backgrounds with patterns. The font colors against those backgrounds hurts my eyes.

The font style and coloring just isn't matching with the backgrounds. I also don't like how the gradient is in the backgrounds.

I also prefer if "Fighters" is closely like the SegaSonic font or a font that goes well with the SegaSonic font. I also don't like Sonic's head in the logo.

I thought the Japanese font was cool, but I wanted anyone new to my site to be able to recognize sonicfighters.com easily, so there is more of a chance of it sticking in their head.

Currently sonicfighters.com looks a bit blurry to me, and the glove needs more boldness to it.
