Okay, I've never believed in the sandbox theories, but I'm wondering if there is such a thing after what I have seen on my site.

I have designed a new page about 4 weeks ago - a property guide page for Florida. SEO KW = Florida villas, it was ranking in the top 20 now all of a sudden it has taken a nose dive to #105

Florida Villas (http://www.holiday-rentals.uk.com/florida-villas.html )

I was initially thinking that I have over optimised the page.

Well,

After Saturday my traffic went down by 85%, travel related too.

A lot of travel sites were hit BIG after this new update.

I'm trying to find a reason but until now, nothing makes any sense for me...

Nuts, traffic has stayed even, thankfully, but this KW rankings have dropped big time!

I wouldn't put it past Google to occasionally drop Florida-like filters on competitive keywords so that people are finding more relevant results in Adwords than organically.

Scoreboard - that's two anti-Google posts in one night! :D

From what I've read in different forums, Google seems to have devalued internal links some.

Yah, I was thinking that as I was posting. I better back away from the keyboard before I wake up tomorrow and all my clients have lost their PageRank. :)

I heart Google.

Could you please post the forums, I'd like to read more about it.

Thanks!
