Hi

I had launched a site by the name TechJobs.co.in almost 6months back.
by creating backlincks and submitting to different SOEs the site is listed on
page 2 of Google. But my problem is how to increase the viewership.


Can someone please tell me what is lacking in my site and help me increase the sites page rank and visitors.

Try to be listed in the 1st page (top 5 if possible) of SEs with the right keyword/keyphrase. Make sure that a lot of people actually "search/es" for your keyword, getting #1 on a keyword/keyphrase is useless if not. :) You can also use advertising to increase traffic.

To increase your PR, you'll have to improve your link popularity (submit to directories, write quality content to attract links, etc).

yea first of all try to listed in first page coz 50%people do not used to go on 2nd page.
so just do some seo work for for your targeted keywords.

Do more onsite optimization, Check it from start is there any mistakes in terms of optimization. continue doing link building.

Even you have a better ranking in google it doesn't mean that you will increase your traffic. Try to be listed on the first page and do alternatives to get more traffic. Try to post to forums related to your site so that you can get your targeted visitors. Join social bookmarking site to boost your traffic. Try blogging and continue on your link building to get more traffic.

You must also see if your keywords bring in enough searches before anything..

If you are targeting a keyword that has less than 100 searches a month, you would not receive any traffic on page 2..

You mean the traffic, well, update your site from time to time. Create a content that may grab viewers' attention.

Content is king. The more original content you have and the more pages of that content you have will give the search engines more information to feed off of. That information helps rank your pages higher.
