YahooSarah: Could you give us an Intro and some background please. Thanks!
Can you also confirm how many ad units we are allowed per page? There seems to be some confusion.

I have said it in many posts, your ypn account says you can have multiple ad units, ypn themselves have said so as well. But to make it easier on everyone simply call the 800 number, someone immediatly picks up the phone and ask them. They will ok it, then you will know.

I guess YahooSara was a hoax or Yahoo decided it was a bad idea to have someone posting here. Too bad, I think Yahoo would be smart enough to have someone "in the trenches" getting the word out, especially while they are in Beta.

I don't think its good idea to call someone out to post. They will post when they see a place that they can help. If Shawn (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=1) says they are the real deal, then they are the real deal. (My 2 cents anyway...) :)

You may have a point there. Sorry to all if I have really bad etiquette
I just thought if someone is the "real deal" from Yahoo and they will be participating, an Intro would be nice. I didn't think asking for it was over the line since she already made a presence here.

Oh, thanks for pointing out that response from Shawn, I hadn't seen that before. That makes my last post on this thread irrelevent. Sorry.

All,
I’ve been out there, checking in for Yahoo! Search Marketing and Publisher Network related threads on various forums. I am new to this particular forum but this community seems pretty tapped in already. This is not a hoax. Hope I can be of help.
And yes, we do allow for mulitple ad units on a page.

This is not a hoax.I can confirm that (in case any users don't want to take her word for it). Both email address (which is verified for all users) and IP address are inside Yahoo, Inc.

From support just last week....
In regards to your inquiry, you may install the ad code on as many websites as you like, as long as you own the website and it meets the program guidelines. Each URL or page can only display our Ads one time. Also, per the Yahoo! Publisher Network guidelines, if you install Yahoo Publisher Network ads on a page, there may not be any other contextual ads on the same page.
Some one gots to get this fixed so you all translate the rules the same way!! You might want to talk to Lisa ******.
Yah, I know it's a bump, but we would all sure love it if you all gave the same answer so we would know for sure!!

Hate to bring up multiple ads per page again but, I just received this today to a question I sent out on September 14th. So now I have one phone call and one email saying I can't and YahooSara and some help text on the YPN site saying I can. For now, I guess I'll be removing YPN from the sites where I display multiple ads per page. This decision is made easier since the ads aren't performing that well any way.

Hello Toivo,
In regards to your inquiry, an ad unit may only be installed once on each page/url.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of any further assistance.
Sincerely,

... can multiple ad units be displayed on a single page. And, are there any restrictions on how many ad units can be displayed.
On the YPN reports page, when the "Ad Unit Impressions" question mark is
hovered over, I get the following text:
"An Ad Unit Impression is recorded each time an ad unit is displayed on a page. A page may contain one or more ad units. For instance, each time a user views a page that contains 2 ad units, 2 Ad Unit Impressions are recorded, one for each ad unit displayed."
This seems to say that I can have multiple ad units per page.
Are there any restrictions to the number of ad units per page?

Hi Sarah & Welcome to DP :)
I'd just like to say that I am REALLY impressed with Yahoo's customer service & feedback system. Twice now I have received a personal phone call from two super-friendly reps that were willing to go out of their way to offer suggestions and answer questions... and even email me with specific information that wasnt on hand during the call.
In addition, I've been pleased with the performance of the Y!ads on one of my sites... for that particular site, I wont be switching back to the other contextual advertising option (A)!
Great to see you here!
