Hi Indian friends,
I had used CJ about a year ago and would like to open a new account soon.
My question is, how long do their checks take to reach you?
I guess the currency for check is USD...how and where do you get the check encashed ?
Is there any special procedured needed for the check in $ ?
And how much are you making through CJ ?

hi!
I am using CJ from last one year, They pay you in the currency you opt for during signup, like i have opted to get the same in Euro. There service is fast i recieve there check within 7-10days and gets clear in around 30days. However bank charges are too high it is Min Rs 250/- per check. I will recomend you to opt checks in USD. You will need to fax them a Tax form that will be mailed to you after you complete sign up procedure by CJ.
Best Regards,

You just have to deposite the usd cheque in your bank and there is no special procedure.
If you planning to stay under the radar make sure your cheque amount is always less then Rs50000 (less then $1200).

i had some 10$ in the account, then i saw all the tax problems, and i shifted back to where i was!
faxing the form etc is a lot of heck! i won't try that.
though, as far as i have seen, checks of banks that has a branch in india, get's encashed quicker than the banks that don't have a branch in india!:)

Hey guy you can use UTI bank for check collection.. they charges only 0.25% of the amount + 112 Rs. courier charges.
It means that for a $100 Check the bank charges around 124 Rs. and for a $1000 Check the bank charges around 224 Rs.
