If I were to click on a adsense add that is in one of my post could I actually be clicking on my ads and then be removed from the adsense program? Well once I reach 50 posts.

Yes, it would be the same as clicking your own ad (if it's using your AdSense ID).

Don't click on your own ads Dave. Here, at the sites you put them on, or any computer in the office.

That's kind of a paradox isn't it? You don't know if the ad is showing up with your pub id yet it's something that you actually want to click on for more information. What do you do?

And if you view the source and find out for sure that it's your pub id, then you're really caught between a rock & a hard place. Maybe you can refresh the page until the ad shows again but not with your pub id or maybe you just click on it an hope it goes un-noticed. But then would it be fraudulent if you actually clicked because you wanted to get more information about the advertisement?

Then you hover the mouse over it, check the satus bar and type that in the address bar.

Or simply don't do the revenue sharing thing. It's the same problem as running ads on your own site if you wanted to click it. You can't.

I don't I just wanted to know what the outcome would be.

Don't click on your own ads Dave. Here, at the sites you put them on, or any computer in the office.

You will be kicked out of the AdSense program. No different than clicking your own ads on your own domain.

Shawn, wouldn't it be possible to not show a user there own adds. People might be leary of clicking on adds and revenue may go down. Just a thought from a lowly grunt.

It's possible, but not going to happen. I really don't want to get flooded with people asking why their ads don't show.
