Hi
Could anybody please point me in the right direction?
Im loking to make a video for my site and was wondewring how you guys go about it.
Any help is much appreciated.

if you are talking of making a video from your screen, i would suggest using the swf format as the files are small
there are free, cheap and not so cheap programs that will enable you to do that
one i like (and is free) is called CamStudio version 2 ... it took some doing to get it and can send it to you if you like (and if i can find it)
it's use is a bit tricky but not overly difficult as, from memory, it creates the video in avi and then you need to convert it to swf
