Awesome! I got accepted too, although I must say the rituals were a bit rough (and the goat was highly unnecessary).
Made me feel good to be accepted to such an organization.

Unnecessary - Yes. But, memorable! :D
Got my acceptance email today as well... must have been the day they decided to let in the bottom-feeders

You aren't missing anything.
They don't have Adlinks, the ad targeting is worse than Google (which isn't great anyway), and the interface is very basic.
One thing I have to give to Google, though many things they do bug me, is their publisher interface. All the data,
updates (AT LEAST) every 1/2 hour,
with URL and Ad channels,
sorting,
easy export to CSV/Excel/database,
and the many options to configure ads, view earnings, and track numbers over time.
Great stuff!!!!
It really bugs me YPN doesn't update during the day. But, then again, it's in BETA.

Couldn't care less about adlinks, I never use them, and since I have over 30 sites I'm sure I could increase my revenue if I joined Yahoo. Several people here have said that they are getting quite a nice increase in their earnings.
Who cares about how quick some stats update or how pretty the excel reports are, I'm just interested in the $$

How many times a day you see your stats, and how they appear in the CSV CVS VSC file will not change how much money you make.
If you didn't check your stats more than once or twice a day, it wouldn't be a problem. :)
And the earnings are definitely increasing. I just PM'd you about it.

you can have more then one adbox per page.
In your reports click on the ? next to click, it says there that you can have more then one adbox per page. End of story.

No, for now you cannot join. Google opened their doors to other countries soon after adsense started out. Let's see what Yahoo does...

They will definetly accept publishers from the globe as they have to increase their publisher base in order to compete with google.
When they start accpeting it depends on Y! might be at the end of this year or later.

They will accept publishers from outside the US - I believe that you need a US bank account to get paid at present. Could be wrong on that though.

I just got accepted and added the code to one portion of my site (it will never show at the same time as the google ads on other pages). No ads are appearing but on the bright side, it's completely blank, haha. Nobody clicks from my forums anyway, I just want to see how the targetting is (and i'm a few dollars away from $100 from google) before I switch completely...but I'm going to try it for a month. I'm getting 8-10 cents a click on google, way down from a year ago it was about 25.
