Hi

I am confused by awstat document. :confused:

- Is awstat run on server site ?

- Can I upload all to my linux server and run set up ?

- Can you tell me simplest step to set up awstat ?

Do you have cpanel on your server, if so it comes along with it.

If not google for awstat installation on linux server, you will get lots of helpful links if you own a server and have root access, otherwise if you are on shared account you are out of luck if server does not run awstats or has plesk on it.

Hi,

- Is awstat run on server site ?Most of the time, AWStats runs on the same computer as the web server, but this is not mandatory.

- Can I upload all to my linux server and run set up ?

- Can you tell me simplest step to set up awstat ?The AWStats installation page is here (http://awstats.sourceforge.net/docs/awstats_setup.html). If you have enough knowledge of Linux, you can just upload all the files to your server and manually edit the AWStats configuration file.
