I have had good experiences with www.linksandtraffic.com (http://www.linksandtraffic.com).

The service isn't the cheapest, but sometimes you get what you pay for. It dramatically increased the number of one way inbound links that I have.

The best thing about it is that they guaranteed the number of links I would get and gave me a report when they were done showing me where the links were placed.

I gained traffic from the resulting SERP boost, not really direct traffic from the links themselves though.

There are a variety of link building services and they all have their pros and cons. Regardless of which service you choose, inbound links are either the most, or second most important thing you can do for your website...the other being fresh new content.

link building is an important activity for a website and when done properly it will not only bring in traffic but also get you rankings.

Before you hire any service provider, make sure they are worth their salt.

Link costs are mainly based on the domain's PageRank ans some other factors like backlinks, alexa rank, age of the domain etc.
