Alexa - Related Sites

Does anyone have experience with Alexa, and its related sites function? I have been suggesting related sites / links for my site, but so far I have had no response from Alexa, and no related links are appearing.

Personally I love the related sites feature in the Alexa tool bar - helps a lot when surfing.

I've suggested a few but notice they tend to go more off their own data, (from toolbar users) so I would consider linking to these other sites from yours so your visitors click from your site to the other sites (and are hopefully alexa users).

I really don't get how it works either. Tke a look at the related site for the DP forums...I don't a see how that site is related to this one. It is somewhat related, bu there's a lot of others that I would consider "more related".

I have suggested some related sites to Alexa and had them inluded but it takes a long time. Also there is some place you can click and request thumbnail for your site.

I think they are using this feature to sell books.

Ahh, I was only seeing one (ipagerank) in the toolbar at work yesterday. That site is related, but there's a bunch (include on the list in the link you posted) that are much more related.
