Has anyone been contacted by Google for running adsense on too many sites with a single adsense account?

You are not allowed to have more than one Adsense account, why would it bother Google that you have many sites?

Since you are not allowed more than one adsense account (uunless specifically approved by Google), I do not think there should be a problem regardless of how many sites you put the code on, as long as they are your sites.

Have you been contacted by Google about this, or are you simply doing your homework before adding adsense to a large number of new sites?

I have not been contacted ... just researching. Adsense has finally started paying off for some of my sites and I have been adding many, many new sites in a pretty short timeframe so I just wanted to see if anyone had had problems with this.

While you can only have one adsense account, it wouldn't be too much effort to create accounts under different family members and different companies which is what I was contemplating...

Fine line between being careful and being overly paranoid ;)

you really should have 1 account per person so you can switch from 1 to another. have you considered the tax issues? if you are inside us, it is better off to split the income among families. if google ask why so many logins are from the same ip, tell them: we all hire the same technical person, or it is simply a proxy server.

My understanding is that you can only have 1 account, but can use the code on any websites that you own or are the webmaster of. With that said, if you have your own server, there is nothing stopping you from building 100 websites, 100 pages each all with AdSense code. Google gets paid for clicks too... ;)

You can have as many sites on adsense as you like, but you can have only 1 account. A friend of mine has more than 30 sites with adsense.
