Define 'unlimited'. There is no such thing as 'unlimited'. If you tried to have 1,000,000,000,000,000...bytes of mail.... :D:D:D:D

Unlimited = Infinite = All the Space You Want
I'd suspect that it's like a buffet, though; they say "all you can eat," but if you actually manage to eat everything in the kitchen, which is pretty much impossible (just like it's impossible to run out of space with Yahoo), there's no more food for you.

yes i have gone through that. but then we hardly use 10% of the space that is being provided. there is absolutely no requirenments of unlimited space, it is just that, unlimited sounds good.
but then i will be waiting, perhaps some of the good spam emails i will not delete anymore:D

Inlimited = Infinite.
And U guys know what,
Infinity +1 cant be anything.
If you take 3000MB as infinity, there must not be a 3001.
As there is, 3000 is not equal to infinity.
Like that, even if Yahoo use all the servers in the Universe, They cant give Infinite eMail storage even for a single person.

You can't send a file more than 10MB in Yahoo. 30gigs.com allows to send 250MB file in attachment.

True, and constantly increasing. But I think instead of increasing the space I would rather go for an increase in bandwith. :)

Yes even i want gmail to increase its storage capacity so everytime i dont have to go and look for how many space has been utilised, and ya i dint got u bondat whats that bandwith
It's a good thing. I hope people at Microsoft are also learning a thing or two. They are too damn far behind in about everything!

Yes...
Well I was wondering if hotmail would follow the same trend. It all started with gmail.
I also observed rediffmail doing the same. But I have very bad experience with rediffmail service.
Major advantage of Unlimited is ---- You never need to delete a mail.

Google started this tradition and it is growing popular. Yahoo and rediff are not unlimited. Well yahoo service is wonderful.
Yahoo has been giving POP service since last few years and gmail is with it since the beginning.

Unlimited email isn't much... As everyone said, GMail's 2000MB + is enough for nearly everyone. GMail's web interface is wayy better then Yahoo's by a long shot so Im sticking with GMail whatever Yahoo throws at me ;)

If the email account withstands 120 of thost attachments, and keeps going, then we can definately recognize it as unlimited. :D
