My site http://www.freelisted.com is pretty new (around 1 week). I have submitted my site to google and google sitemap on 8 Sept. Guess what. My index page was indexed by Google on 9 Sept. All of the pages(100 ++ pages) were indexed by Google on 12 Sept. It is amazing.

then definitely my website is int he sandbox. i submitted mine and google seems like not showing any sign of a crawl.

No. It is not related with sandbox. My site is still new and I am sure it is still in the google sandbox.

Thing with Google is patience i have found nowadays. It is a shame they used to list so quickly in the past.

It works great for me too. Contents are indexed normally in 24 to 48 hrs.

my site www.mcseworld.com had 9k pages index in google for 1 year. I installed a good site map, now after 1 month I have 60k pages in google!! Thanks google site map!!
