If the name is memorable, then the domain is worth more
If it's just random letters, it isn;t worth much

BTW, if it's a name that's been dropped, make sure it's not fake.
Your chances of grabbing a real PR6 for regfee is extremely slim.

If you get it dropped or expired it worth nothing from the pagerank perspective. Pagerank is updated a few weeks after dropping and actual rank will be lost, I learned that after purchasing many pagerank dropped domains that later were totally useless.

What really worths is the name.

pagerank is just one consideration of many. google could kill pagerank if it drops. also look at the value of the name itself- good words? .com? what kinds of links are coming in?
