Hi,

I sell a Chess Trainer software called Personal Chess Trainer and I noting that my payments options - Paypal and Credit Card, are not enought to trade with many people all around the world.

I got people in India, in Mongolia and Saudi Arabia who loved my software and can't buy it in a easy way, they got problems with creditcard online payment in their countries. They made a huge struggle to purchase, talked with their baks to transfer and everything.

And in Spain and other European Countries some people who don't want to use CC, have troubles because Paypal is not very useful for Europe.

So, for sure I'm losing hundreds of sales for lack of a suitable payment option for many of my targeted customers.

So, The question is: Does anybody know the best payments options for all the countries, including West and East Europe, and Asia? Please, If someone already has successfuly histories on it, tell me, or tell us.

I read about Ikobo, 2checkout, Stormpay. Are they good?

THanks a lot
Mauricio

If they can't pay with card, they will not be able to use any of these three.

Ask your bank for their conditions and consider accepting international money orders and checks. Or western union payments.

Hi, thanks for your answer.

Each case is a specific case. Not everyone can't use credit cards, sometimes they prefer other kinds of payments option.
And if you can't facilitate it to them, you will die soon.

What is the best solutions for online payment for Europe and Asian Countries, as Paypal isn't a perfect solution for them?

Thanks

The problem is all these services require initial funding via a credit card so there is nothing to suggest.

If they can't use a Credit Card, your only other real option is to have them send you postal orders or cheques

I deal almost exclusively to Europe and have never had an issue with Credit Cards. I use a Worldpay/Paypal/Cheque option and haven't lost any more than say 1 sale a month.

Neither of those will help though if they don't have a Credit Card to fund it in the first place right?

I read about Ikobo, 2checkout, Stormpay. Are they good?

Stay clear from Ikobo we had a very bad experience with them sending money to our engineer in UA. They still have over $600 lost between here and his Ikobo visa.

Did you look at Western Union? they are almost everywhere and they have a service called Western UnionĀ® Quick PaySM Western UnionĀ® Quick PaySM (http://www.westernunion.com/info/bsQuickPay.asp?country=U1).
They say you can get money from 130 countries and if I remember well they 'mainly' take cash :)

Thanks Everybody.

Western Union don't worth for Brazilian Companies, because when it come in our account, our "fair" government charge us around U$ 60 tax. Each international receiving.

Well, sometime the person has Creditcards, but they don't want to use it or prefer to use in the Paypal and similar sites, because they've never listened anything about us and stay kind of afraid to be fraud. So they prefer pay us by Paypal or similar because if it is a fraud, they can take their money back.

We have to understand it, because everybody knows that there are people with bad intensions around the world,

So, I need to know: Does anybody knows or is working with Worldpay or Stormpay? Are they good for Europeans and Asians?

Thanks a lot everybody

It costs a lot to send by Western Union. I don't like to use it unless it is something I really want/need and there is no other option.

I use share-it to sell diet/fitness software and I am happy with them. They specialize in software and support credit cards/wire transfers/check and cash. I have clients over 50 countries and have had no complaints about payments options.

I have a personal experience with StromPay and they are perfect. You can use Strompay for those who dont have PayPal in their Country and can use credit Cards.

MoneyBookers is the best if you want to deal with Europeans, E-Gold can be used by anyone, but people prefer to stay away from it because it is too confusing. I cannot say anything about neteller, because it is one more payment solution that doesn't like new EU countries.

Checkout another player called Alertpay, no referral from here. Also unlike 2CO no space on site required for use.

You'd rather use a large payment system, such as ShareIT, Regnow, Plimus, etc. They have not only secure credit card processing technologies, but can also receive payments via phone, fax, wire transfer, etc. One thing your customers will need when ordering via phone, will be, perhaps, a good command of English (so the bank operator would understand them).

Really, just recommend using a trusted payment system like I mentioned above and say the payments are really secure and if anything, they get a refund. It is a matter of trust, if they have but won't use credit cards.
