I run a Toyota Forum. I have been using "mysitename.com" as anchor text on all pages for internal linking to main page.
Is it recommended to change anchor text "mysitename.com" to "Toyota Forums"?. Will this alert Google Spam filter?
Thx!:)

It's recommended, I did this last year & got a significant boost in rankings. And I don't see why it would invoke any spam filter.
Also, if you don't wish to change the anchor text to toyota forums, keeping it mysitename.com and adding the title attribute to the a tag is known to help as well.

By changing it from "mysitename.com" to "Toyota Forums" it increases your inanchor count for your desired keyphrases "Toyota Forums".
Essentially you are telling search engines that your domain / index pages http://www.mysite.com is about "Toyota Forums" as all links from the other pages on your site use that phrase as it's anchor text.
Result = Better rankings for Toyota forums, especially of that's your main keyword and you are using "Toyota forums" as the main anchor text in your backlinks.
