Yep, suprisingly I Just got my email from YPN! telling me I was accepted into their program.
I'm going to replace G ads on my site for a while to see how Yahoo works out.
This is comes to a shock to me though that I got accepted, due to my honesty when filling out my application a week ago. ;) ;)
I'll be posting later about my experience with it.
Thanks,
Exaro.

It will be very interesting to compare revenue from the two different companies.

Thanks.

They should begin accepting non-US publishers by the end of the year.

What do you consider end of the year? 31st of December?! :D :D kidding!
Let's hope by late November, early December they are open to non-US publishers...;)
So is Yahoo trying to be different from Google or is it trying to compete with a like for like package?

after using YPN for a couple of days, it seems some clicks pay higher than Adsense and others pay worse.
I guess its going to take a lot of trial and error to find a good mix between the two.

I just got accepted but Im not adding any because they are not supporting multiple ad units on a single page.

I have multiples on my pages, no problems.

According to the TOS you can only have one.

HAH, I just called, (866) 785-2636. YPN Help line, unlimited number of ad units which will change once out of beta to 4 or 5. Call for yourself, they pick the phone up immediatly, no hold time.

Im waiting on the e-mail but it was brought up in another thread about this which is quoted from the TOS.
"send additional Queries until the user refreshes the Ad Page or navigates to a new Ad Page. "
It states that only on query at a time per page load can be done.
https://publisher.yahoo.com/legal/tnc/
I tried it with three before I saw that and it just duplicated. Hopefully you are right about that because that would really suck.

Here is the full text, reads different out of context:
Implementation. If there is any conflict between these implementation requirements and a Policy, you should comply with the Policy instead, but only to the extent of the conflict.
1. You agree to allow your Ad Pages to send Overture a Query each time that a user navigates to an Ad Page, except that you agree not to do the following unless we consent in writing:
1. send more than 250 Queries per second. If you exceed this number, we may suspend services until you bring your traffic within that maximum; or
2. send additional Queries until the user refreshes the Ad Page or navigates to a new Ad Page.

Wow, its amazing how different our interpretations of this can be. I've always understood "a" to mean one. From dictionary.com definition of "a" - "Used before nouns and noun phrases that denote a single but unspecified person or thing: a region; a person."
It says "single", which to me means one.
Now I know why I'm not a lawyer :D

Sorry i posted same thing in 2 threads.
You can have more then one adbox per page.
In your ypn reports section, next to the word click there is a ?, click that and it says you can have more then one adbox per page. so thats that now we all know.

so far the report is fine, its updating rather quickly, usability is fantastic , same amount of features as adsese. Revenues so far much higher then adsense.
