multiple sites on same server

am i risking a cross link problem with SE's if i have multiple sites on the ad network. Eventually i will have cross links!

all my sites are on the same server.

Or is the cross link thing a myth? Does anyone have this situation or any advise?

I have never had a problem with it, and I have 50 site on one of my servers.
