no confirmation after i submitted my sitemap to G?...

is their a confirmation that after you passed your sitemap to G?...


i submitted http://www.mydomain.com/sitemap.xml?...no confirmation just the same page?...don't know what is the problem or is it just normal?...:confused:

I never got a confirmation, what I did though was check to make sure that Google was crawling that page, which it is, which means that they have it...

you can check your stats...I use awstats, so it tells me what spiders are crawling my site....also, I can see that my sitemap page has had visitors..

If you are submitting your sitemap via your google account, and if it's successful, you shall see the sitemap in the xml list.
