How create KML Files for sitemap??

I see this article (http://googlemapsapi.blogspot.com/2007/01/get-more-traffic-to-your-maps-api-site.html) on Google Maps API official BLOG.
If i understand i can add to my sitemap a KML file available for viewing on Google Earth.
Anyone can tell me how a can create a KML file with informations of my business??

Doesn't the Google Maps API explain that? (Google maps <> Google sitemaps)

I was recently looking into geo sitemaps and kml files and found <this> (http://stever.ca/local-internet-marketing/cool-geo-data-for-local-websites/) quite helpful.

You can use google earth to generate your kml file quite easily.
