If you haven't found the feature in analytics, I doubt there is one if the marketing view doesn't show it.

I would suggest AWstats for something like this, it would probably show such things better.

My host won't let me install AWstats, I know how you feel. I have only been with analytics for two weeks, and I haven't seen anything that could do this, if it isn't already showing it in the MARKETING section.

Check out the marketing section, look at referrers. If that doesn't work, you might read an FAQ or two.

again i am at dilema ...

can any one explain the diff between the two statements (the statements have been taken from google analytics)??

1)how do i track a site that has multiple domain names? (2) How do I track a site that uses domain aliases?

for clear pic i will show my links

withcrystalsandstones.com ---> withcrystalsandstones.net MAIN SITE

in the above link if i click on any product i will be taken to .net

crystalflipflops.org ----> withcrystalsandstones.net MAIN SITE

in this case after i press "add to cart" i wil be taken to .net(main site.)

finally i would like to ask if these are multiple domains or domain aliases??

I don't remember off hand, but there is some option to see who refers to your domain. Perhaps, you could see the stats for domain B and try to see the referrers from domain A.. I will login to my analytics account in some more time and post the steps. I remember doing this before too, but that was quite long ago when I wanted to check which domains are referring to my site.

Hey David, sorry to have kept you waiting. Here are the steps that I had used in the past to check the referring (source) domains to my website.
In your analytics dashboard, click on Marketing Optimization, then select Marketing Campaign Results and then click on "Source Conversion". This will show you all the referring domains to your website and you can select the number of domains to list on the top of that page.

Hope this helps!

And if you are very specific about a page from other domain that refers to your domain, then use "Referral Conversion" which will even give you the page/url from other domain that refers to your domain. Is this what you wanted?

Hey David, I am not sure if that will suffice your requirements. I never tried it myself, so can not suggest. Sorry! :confused:
