Problem to connect to yahoo server using jymsg api(java yahoo messenger)

I am making instant messenger application using yahoo api(jymsg);
I have downloaded the api and try to use it, But i am not able to connect to
yahoo server by using login method, provided by jymsg
login(String user,String pass);
when i tried to connect to server i get timeout error.Will anyone tell me where i was wrong , and how to logged in to the yahoo server using my java application

I am trying hard to get reports through yahoo api and I am still unable to get it through

The codes yahoo have given doesnt work out....

I have mailed them let see what they say
