How do you guys add non english categories in phpld based directories?
Iam referring to Chinese and arabic related categories because when i tried to add on i got a url as http://www.z.com/_______/ with title ترفيه
Is there any mod for this so that we can add these kind of categories

I know you can use the script in different languages but I'm not sure you can use the script in English and add foreign language categories to it.
That would be interesting mod for regional categories

That is a good subject, having different characters could even cause problems with the mysql database.
I decided to write the regional languages in English.

but you cannot do the english transalations for all the words - like Català (http://www.gii.in/World/Catal____/)
How would you suggest in this case?

I think Català could go on Spanish, if you whant.

No i didnt mean for this single word, i was referring to many similar words , like the chinese and arabic words, also in case of arabic words they come backwards.

Else one more option is create category in english and then edit the link with the title in the respective language , but it just creates double work.
