transferring domain name from yahoo

Now i've heard its difficult...but i really need to transfer it to my namescheap account. I wanna do this asap. How do i go about it??

How do i go about it??i tried to do it but it totally takes the domain from your hands when there is like 2 months left on domain... i decided to not re reg with them and they just took it... i ahve no control while its still regged

I've been told by a friend that one can't transfer a domain out from Yahoo. If you register a domain there, you plan to keep it there for life. You just cant take it out. The only procedure is to let it expire and grab it somewhere else but of course it is risky and not recommended.
