if a low pr site T1 target keyword "translate english to chinese" and a high pr site T2 target "english chinese translation", so when peple search by "translate english to chinese" ,T1 position is more high than T2 postion,isn't it? or it depend something else? or it depend on how high and low these two site? so my question is how keyword relevancy influence the se postion relative to pr ?

ya, i would say if you target "translate english to chinese", the T1 will appear higher. In that respect, my assumption is that T1 has several inbound link with the keyword as Anchor text.

if only with on-page keyword,it will not exceed high pr site,even you keyword is more relevant than their.

lately on page optimization has taken a back seat compared to off page optimization, i was told this, and later confirmed myself, although it is still very important.

Anchors are one of the important things of off-page optimization, please dont compare, on-page on the whole with anchor, as on-page includes lots of things.

If plenty of good sites (with high PR and trust) gives you anchor, you would certianly find yourself a SERP for that particular keyword.

Comparison is not alwayz the best thing to do. ;)

clearly,obviously.that way your site will high pr too. but please note my question.if not high pr site or that site link to me, how much does revelancy work for me? if I exact keyword revelancy, Could I exceed to high pr site with low revelancy?

if I search "translate english to chinese" I can see no site target that keyword display in first result page. site with many seperate keyword that showed in first page. I even found it show in first page. "Chinese Poetry With English Translation" it has very low relvlant keyword, it is almost equal to "english chinese translation" keyword. but it result from "translate english to chinese".
what I want is "if I create a site target "translate english to chinese",can I show in first page? gr8liverpoolfan and toby give me exact answer.but you see above, it seem to be worth discussing more deep.

Alvalong, the other thing you should take into account is the fact that more people appear to search for '' english chinese translation'' than translate english to chinese''.

Build high PR relevant link with '' translate english to chinese'' and you should figure in the serps, although it will take time. How soon you get to the top also depends on your competition for the term.

Absolutely! You need to have both keywords in the Titles of the outbound links! And that is the most effective SEO technique!

let 's take a test
type "english chinese translation" in google. then you see ten item in first result page. first three have nothing(or a little thing) to do with keywords you type.the 8th is relevant to the keyword. so a conclusion can made: pr is much important than what people think it is(it is less important).as long as the keywors apear once in a site(text ,anchor,title,alt etc) or point to it.(as long as a little relevancy is present)and the site pr is high enough, it will feature in first page.
