$50 for a Quick Logo - based on another logo!

I am looking for a logo for one of our sites www.freeinuk.co.uk

This site is going to be redesigned (I may decide to let the winner code the template - undecided yet) based on the theme of our other site www.uspree.com. I want the new logo to be similiar, but smaller - without the basket in the uspree logo (Unless you think you can come up with a better one!)

Basically, what you need to do is, make a freeinuk.co.uk logo with a catch phrase "Home for free stuff & Discount Vouchers" underneath the logo.

Do not worry about stripping bits from the uspree logo as we own that site.

Suggestions:

1. The words "free" "in" "uk" ".co.uk" should be differentiated. (different colours etc)

2. The .co.uk bit needs to be less conspicous, but visible (smaller, ligher colour etc)

Contest will run for 7 days, but if I like someones work, it will be ended early.

If I like the creativity of a designer, there is possibilty of long term design work on many sites.

Any questions, please post here, I will try and offer feedback to everyone who puts their efforts in.

Yes, I dont mind you are creative and trying an image, but I think the basket is not the right image for this site. No need of "TM"

As I said, the .co.uk needs to be smaller/fainter with more emphasis to freeinuk.

I dont like the fonts you have used.

Thanks guys.. Let me make it clear that the new logo will NOT go on the existing freeinuk.co.uk site.. The whole site template will be changed to a similiar layout, colour etc to www.uspree.com.

hs143no - the UK bit is too big and colours dont match.

prospeareht - very good try. Font sizes fine, but I wonder if it would look better with different colours, it would match better. Your attempt looks quite balanced but wont suit the new colour scheme for the site. I like the .co.uk going vertically.

Brown_Cow - Good one, wrong colours.

Mudeth: - Colours fine. Perhaps the "UK" is too big?.

Maybe someone could come up with the best of the above logos?

Tomeek, very good one. It can be a bit confusing though..the "in" going on top.Perhaps the "in" can come under "ee"? Also, the "free" colour can be a bit brighter. Youve got a potential winner there with some mods. I like the way you have done the fonts, with a clear edge.

bizdakol - thanks for that, but it looks too messy for my taste.

Brown_Cow - Another potential winner with the right colours. The way you have done the "free" is very elegant. Again, with some revisions, a potential winner.

Mudeth - Thanks for trying again, I like the colours, but the balance of fonts is not quite right. (The "in" bit is fine though)

Looks like we may have a winner fairly soon and I may not have to run this for a week :)

Georgiev - I was planning to run it for 7 days from yesterday, but will end it when I find the right logo. If you are submitting yours tomorrow, I will wait to see your work :)

Mudeth - Shortlisted for finals ;) (I think if you win, I will ask you change the "free" bit to something like what brown_cow did and put the .co.uk vertically like

Tomeek - Shortlisted. Still a bit unsure of the ee's ..not sure if it looks a bit cluttered. But easily modifiable I guess.

I wish someone could try and improvise on prospeareht's entry as he seems to have given up.

Thanks for the compliment DB, I see you've made a submission, too, very nice. I don't know if the CH likes the cart either, but I needed to fill in the space and didn't necessarily want to put the word "in" in its place. Oh, well, I might think of something else before it ends.

prospeareht - if my domain name was shorter, you would have been a definite winner. Nice work. I think for our site it is a bit much. ( mean the image of top - I love it though) - send me your portfolio please.

James s - Nice work. I like the originality, but it wont suit our new design.

Futtbucker - Good try, but I think you missed what I said about the entire site being done in a different theme.

Daveyboy, your entry really tempted me. Cant fault it, but I liked the winner slighly better.
