Honestly, I think the design looks pretty outdated. What I would go for is the web 2.0 design (google it up;)) for a nice clean professional look.

I would also center the whole site.

Where to start ...

The basic template is OK ... I agree it should be centered.

The data area is definitely a problem ... the sample links on the left are way too large, it overwhelms the sleek design of the template. Text should be simple.

The graphics on the right should be at the top of the column.

Way too much scrolling for so little content.

By the way ... free hosting will only get you so far. Web hosting is inexpensive, you can get yourself a real host for under $5 a month.

Under $5? Where do I get myself one of those? My hosting is around $10-15 a month. Its quality, but still, Id rather get the $5 if I can.

I just looked it over again, and I guess your layout is a little out of date. If you cant create a custom one, there are websites with thousands of free, modernized, layouts.

Not a fan - really don't like the text font - but it does also look very dated

I would hyperlink the titles in the left column too. It's a natural movement to mouseover titles so you might as well hyperlink them. :)
