I recently used adsense service for both ads text and search box.
With ad, the CTR is quite low, 0.6%. But with search box, which I placed in several site, is quite high, from 8-10%. There are some day, CRT is 200%, which has 1 query and two clicks. I swear I never do any cheating on it.
Is it dangerous? Has anyone get paid who had the same problem?

When your traffic is low it can happen. People who use google-search on websites are really looking for info. I think nothing dangerous for you.

I agree, it fluxuates, so the traffic being lower than normal can make for some weird days. It all depends on how many people click it, than it calculates the total.

Sure this could happen. Someone could have your page up and right click on an adsense ad and open it up in a new window or tab. They could open another link the same way. There you have one impression and two clicks. Basic upshot if you didn't do anything don't worry.

So if I understand this correct, as long as you don't click your own ads , you can't get banned?

Might want to help prevent problems with G by not actually publishing your CTR's.

Read several posts here about banning, and you can quickly become paranoid. Heck, I don't even write out G's name, I use the first letter only.
