I deposited my June Check last July 22. Now my bank said I have to wait for 30-45 days clearing period. Exactly 30 days have past but still my check havent deposited to my account. My dilemma is, are they any chances that an adsense check will not be cleared? for what reasons?

Just need clarifications and thanks in advance

You would want to call your bank and ask...

Checks clear within 48 hours at the most, you need to find a new bank.....

What country are you in, that is against the law in the USA to hold funds for that long......

I can believe that. In the U.S. I had to wait 14+ days for a check from the Virgin Islands to clear. They may be physically sending the check back and forth.

I wouldn't worry about the check not clearing. How many billions did google just raise?

What bank is it?

It is metrobank philippines. The largest and the most stable bank here. I wonder if there are webmasters that wasn't able to unclear their check?

Just keep waiting they will give you your money, they just want to use the money as long as they can by law.

These banks are all thieves, if you do not have money, they charge you more money, $29.00 to bounce a check.

The old saying is true, the rich get richer (they charge you more money if you don't have money putting you deeper in the hole) and the poor will get poorer.

Google has nothing to do with it if you have deposited the check in the bank.

You have to contact your bank, Google is not going to give you another check if you have the original check deposited in the bank.

You are just going to have to wait until your bank releases your money.

I think it's the same with many third world countries. Banks may take up to 40-50 days to clear a foreign check.
Too bad Google does not use Western Union. Real fast

They have the money in 48 hours, the money changers own the government and make the laws, they just use your money for a month for free, it is that simple.........

The check was credited only this afternoon. I emailed directly the head office of my bank this morning and a few hours later there it is. I guess anthony is right, theyre holding it as long as they could. I hope I can open a US account.

I guess the only downside is that you will be taxed in the USA and then again in Philippines for having a US bank account.

Boy, that really suck with the delay in check-cashing ...

BTW, has anyone ever heard of any type of electronic deposit from Google Adsense - this would sure be nice.
