View Full Version : PR3 With 1 Backlink?

I've got a product site that I don't really pay much attention to in terms
of search engine traffic. It's a one page site that's not optimized or SEOed
at all, with only 1 backlink in Google, yet I've got a PR3!
While I'm not complaining, I'd love to know what I've done to deserve
this mighty accolade from the big G (mainly so I can do it again with my
other sites! :)).

Well what type of product is it? Also is the page content worthy?

Try using yahoo. Google doesnt show all links.
My pr 4 site site, (see sig)
Links:
Google:Results 1 - 10 of about 59 (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=link%3Aebooks.yesgonow.com)
Yahoo!:Inlinks 1 - 50 of about 3,970 (http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/search?p=http%3A%2F%2Febooks.yesgonow.com&bwm=i&bwms=p&bwmf=u&fr=yfp-t-501&fr2=seo-rd-se)
Big difference? Yeah.

why google filter links to site and why yahoo dont?
Does anyone else think that google's actions over the last few years indicate a gradual change in the importance of traffic patterns over inbound links?
