Anyone know how it works?

After typing in some of my sites, which I obviously know the traffic stats for, I would say it’s pulling its estimate out of it’s as*.

The numbers it was “estimating” for my sites are so far off it’s not even funny.

Just my 2 cents. Opinions may vary :)

i checked for my site
and real data are 69.45% higher than their guess
hence guess-data use- and worthless

It looks very much like an estimation based on Alexa traffic rank. As it only appears to change whenever the Alexa numbers are updated.

oddly enough the trafic estimate they gave me was almost exactly what i did get. off 1%

If you guys all know your traffic why would you be interested in using it? I guess I can answer that. To check other peoples traffic????

That would be the only thing is was even remotely useful for - except for the small issue of it not giving accurate results :)
