I'm not sure that you can earn any money on that shopping API, not percentage commission structure at least, because majority or even all of the items that Yahoo sells are actually being sold by third party merchants and Yahoo can't share you commission based on percentage of sale. only per click if any at all. Yahoo doesn't host item stock(warehouse) like Amazon for instance.

I presume that you don't make the money off the products themselves, but the other advertising you place around them?

personally, I think yahoo shopping api is better than shopping.com api.
