Googlebot and cookies

Quick question: does Googlebot (or other spiders, like Slurp or MSNbot) accept cookies?

Quick followup: if Googlebot does not accept cookies, is there a way for Google to check to see if a site looks different with and without cookies enabled?


I ask because I have customized layouts based on referrer to my new website.

if you are using it to cheat then they will find out....if its honest then you have nothing to worry about
