Amazon Web Services.
Web services are self-contained functions that can be published and invoked across the Web using XML-based protocols. Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides functions for directly accessing Amazon's technology platform and product data, ranging from retrieving information about a set of products to adding an item to a shopping cart to checking on the status of a transaction. Using Amazon's Web Services, you can build dynamic, highly-effective Web sites and Web applications. You can access Amazon Web Services through a REST (also called "XML over HTTP" or "XML/HTTP") or a SOAP interface.
Here's the English translation! :D
Any site that uses Amazon's web (XML) services to make a web page, or use for a store section. Amazon's new official name since version 4 came out has been E-Commerce Service 4.0. But every one is so used to AWS, and Amazon still calles it 'AWS for Associates' on there message boards, so we just keep calling it AWS.
For Amazon's FAQ on this (Even this still calles it AWS!!)

Heck, even Amazon's Updated blog still calls this AWS!!!

As for making money with them, it was so much easior back in 1993!!! Now there is WAY more competition!! I'll take the blame for that. :(:(:(

It's MUCH harder now to make money using Google. Just geting ranked good in Google and not geting banned can be a challenge. Make sure your store is as different as possible from all the other billion clones out there, ie all of our sites. Heck I along got 35 AWS stores, and USED to have over 1,000,000 URLs indexed Google. :D It'll help to have the store on a domain that has a nice PR.
Remember, we are your competitor!!!! Ack! How can I be helping a future competitor! I'm nuts!!! :D

It's better than a site that Google's never seen before that'll be in the sandbox for four score and seven years. (87 years for those of you in Rio Linda.)

Tip: Use a script that is allready made, so you don't have to do that work. *hint* http://www.mrrat.com/aws/ *hint* then cahnge the template to make it uniqe, other wise you'll probably be banned just like over 1,000,000 of my listed URLs got banned!!!

The script is free. You don't need to know perl unless you want to make hacks to the script. There is a page where you enter all your info. Upload everything, go to the script URL, and it'll redirect to the URL to enter your info, for free.

you won't have much success with a premade AWS script these days...
