Multiple websites, but one webhosting account. What is your experience.

Lets say i have multiple websites, with different domain names. And i host them all on one hosting account of lets say www.hostgator.com, https://secure.hostgator.com/shared.shtml .

Is that a problem?

Any SEO problems or anything?

Can someone please help me. This is the first time i am buying domains and hosting.

The only SEO "problem" would be that links between domains on the same IP will not count as well towards rankings as links from other IP blocks.
