Pretty cool. I like the set up. I don't know what I would use it for, but it is fast.

Besides porn, which isn't illegal, what would one use this for?

Now it is making more sense.
No wonder I didn't "get it". I work for myself with no boss to tell what I can and can not look at on the net.
Thanks Josh.

With the right promotion, you can get an immense ammount of traffic to these sites. But unfortunitaly only about a month or two per site, as they get found and blocked as well by the big school blocker producers. (I have/am elling one of these sites, and I was actually emailed by the official writer of the blocking software in France I think it was, asking for all the IPs and domains that my site uses, so they could block it :P )

You should make it into an IE/Firefox add-in (toolbar or such) so that it can be easily used all the time when visiting sites. You could then offer this option as a subscription.

Great site, congrats! :D
For those visitors anonymity and use of this kind of services is not totally clear, it's maybe an idea to add some more information about the topic itself - some kind of "About anonymity" or "Why you need an anomynizer" etc... In addition of that, some might like to see a page for your "Privacy Policy"
In my opinion, in the long run this kind of additional information builds trust to your service - and people are recommending it to their friends etc... maybe it's not a bad idea to include a "Tell a friend" -possibility as well ;) ...and for sure you want people to remember the site and come back - maybe "Bookmark this site" helps a bit.
Success! :)
PS. maybe you want to take a look at anonymizer.com as they have listed some reasons why people in some cases just want to use an anonymizer...

I guess it's my night to be a curmudgeon.
Anonymous proxies are great tools for scammers and con artist to bypass security systems. I bet I block 10 anon proxies a day being used by Nigerian check overpayment scammers. There's at least as many Romanian bogus motorcycle ads that get posted and there's no way to tell where the SOBs are located. The only way we can detect them is after they've submitted an ad or an ad inquiry to their next victim.
Personally I think the webmasters and the ISPs should be held responsible for the financial and emotional damage that is caused directly and indirectly by their use.
Ask anyone running an eCommerce, auction or classified site and I'd bet you would get a similar opinion.
themaster, I looked at your site and you did a good job, I'm just opposed to the concept in general given how much time and money we spend fighting scammers.
It's time for the Internet to grow up.

Nice site but i just don't prefer .ws domain names. :o
I was thinking the same thing. Even though it is one word (and an actual word), I am not so sure people will easily remember how to get back to it

ws sites always seem spammy to me, maybe its because of all the porn/warez sites that use ws domains.
Maybe have another .com or .net that will be a mirror of the same thing.

I run both. I just block 'non-secure' proxies from accessing secure pages, so it's not really a problem for me. ;)
Great site, themaster- Good luck with it!

Maybe themaster could offer some of the serives only to people that register.

twow, nice site!! Congrats theMaster. Good for me, many of the sites are blocked in my office and hopefully websense will not index your site in the anonymous websites soon ;)
One doubt about anonymous browsing through your site. When I checked my visitor logs after visiting my site through your site. I got to see some IP which is your hosting IP but timezone was the same as me. Is it like all anon websites, maintain the same timezone as the real one, please explain.

I do not understand how this will work for the long term. If you posted a message on some board that was bad or harmful, some authority could come and demand to see the IP on your server.
What needs to be created is a site that strips IPS so that they can never be found again. Until this is done, then these sites are useless.
Look at it like this. Anonymizer is a great product but how hard would it be for someone to go to Anonymizer and say "show me the IP of this email that was sent through your servers"

Good site, a lot of sites are blocked at my office and this may come handy for checking email.
