Afraid I only see the fairly usual midweek adjustments and shuffle.

Although this said G seems to carefully adjust the mix of on page, semantics and links. Nevertheless ROI on G is still sliding (at least for some of my sites) thus we are shifting advertising as of today.

one of the "market test" sites I run is about pre travel like airport parking etc.
so it's in a pretty competitive area. All detail pages have the same concept and use php to join them, they are carefuly duplicated by database driven equivalent with a different link structure and different base content. The difference of detail pages is core on page content between for example BHX (Birmingham) and LGW (Gatwick) repectively of each set.

LGW uses 100% more words and about double the amount of synonyms than BHX.

LGW shows positive trend BHX keeps dropping. The difference between the link structures is closing but showing the same tendency.

This shows me that G is adjusting on a weekly basis and is presently concentrating on on page and synonym usage, linking fading a bit.

I actually did have a page/phrase that returned from never never land to the top 10. Granted, it's only worth about 5 visits a day, but hey, I won't complain.

I won't be a bit surprised if drops back into the deep deep depths of never being found in the next couple days though. That's usually how it goes - quick spike up, then an equally quick spike back the other way.

Interesting – that same phrase that moved into the top 10 in Google is also in the #1 spot in Yahoo. It’s # 1 in MSN too.

It wasn’t even on the radar in any SE last week.

Like I said though, easy come easy go.

I saw small drops (between 1 - 20 places) over approx. half my keyphrases, and almost no gains. Curious. Usually its mixed.
