I'm seeing major jumps in rankings this morning. Looks like there is an update going on. For me it is positive, what about you guys?

big jumps also here. For a really competitive kw I jumped from "nowhere to be found " to 14th....and other keyword jumped up also.

One of my sites I just sold to a member here jumped to both #1 (inside page) and #2 (homepage) for a very expensive weight loss product.. I had been link building for it for 5 months....

I never would have sold it with those 2 spots, he got a great deal :)

I am also seeing huge jumps. Had been off the Radar for most of my keywords and this morning I am seeing lots of green on KWT including my 1st Number 1 ever in yahoo for a somewhat competitve keyphrase! Now it's time to see if it generates any traffic :D

I've never seen so much green in my life and finally after 9 months yahoo indexed the rest of our pages. Nice way to start the day off.

I had one site go from 2,000 pages down to 200, while another site went from 10 pages up to 15,000 pages.

The site that dropped, has had a good number of pages indexed for the last 3 months. Since the last Yahoo update back around the beginning of April. This is kind of a drag, since Yahoo was sending me about 40% of my traffic to this site. Should be interesting (depressing?) to see what my traffic numbers look like in a couple of days.

This is the first real indexing that Yahoo has done for the site that gained pages. I'm a little concerned now, that it may lose a bunch of pages 3 months from now during Yahoo's next update. Has anyone elses seen this kind of trend with their sites?

freaking weird one site with lots of coop goes number 1 and another with lots of coop weight gotes MIA

This was great! Not only did I finally get all my pages indexed in yahoo, but they gave me # 1 listing for my most competitive keyword, even after the index jumped about 200,000 listings. Do you Yahoooooo!!!!!

#1 for city, #1 for city/state. I didn't think it could ever happen. I've been top 5 for city, but city/state was always top 20. Been going for city and city/state #1 ranking for a year now and Yahoo finally paid off!

If your updates are like the last Yahoo update was for me on one of my sites, check these stats for June:

- Yahoo 16299
- Google 1798
- MSN 1134
- AltaVista 511

I have no idea why I'm getting TEN TIMES the amount of traffic from Yahoo. The surge started sometime in May. Here's July's stats just 20 days into the month:

- Yahoo 13256
- Google 1147
- MSN 646

Amazon sales have tripled and adsense has tripled for this particular site. Here's hoping Yahoo treats you folks as well or better! If summer months are slow for Amazon sales and I'm doing this well, I can't wait for the holiday season.

my adsense alone on that channel went 10x that of yesterday...

and i guess it is possible to rank #1 w/o a yahoo directory listing (when 6 of top 10 have 'em).:)

Just checked in on a couple of sites I had basically worked on and forgotten. Slurp had been in the site day after day, but no new pages added. When the update was announced it looked like not much had changed. Then I realised that Yahoo finally had every page on the site. And then I checked my logs and could not believe them.

Happy to say the least.

I doubt thats the reason for it. The site Ive been monitoring which regained positions in Yahoo's SERPs I removed alota coop weight.

I'm not impressed with the results. I've seen some stupid results from this update. I don't mind being dropped from SERP by better pages, but most of the pages i see now are not very relevant compared to ones before this update.

For example, when i search for this - benefit of cabbage (http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=benefit+of+cabbage&sp=1&prssweb=Search&ei=UTF-8&fl=0&fr=moz2&SpellState=n-1600192412_q-pJ2tSlb1nk2EgIQmZ3F9SwABAA%40%40) , look at the top 5 results. Highly irrelevant!

Even the sponsored ad is a joke.For other results it appears that the more keyword you stuff on the keyword and description tag, the higher you may go on the ranks.

Look at the No 1 site for the term stupid yahoo (http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=stupid+yahoo&prssweb=Search&ei=UTF-8&fr=moz2&fl=0&x=wrt) . very stupid results ....

Not impressed. Hey Yahoo! shake again ( hehe ..i will be very unpopular because of this :D)

Weird. Yahoo API shows that I have great SERPs in yahoo again I wasnt showing up at all for about a month), but when I actually check yahoo, I do not show those rankings at all. Anyone know if the Yahoo API is a leading indicator or not?

#4 on Yahoo of 62,900,000 pages over 6K search a day.:D
#1 on MSN of 4,500,000 pages some 100 search a day only
#3 on MSN of 18,900,000 pages some 100 search a day only
So I'm quite pleased with this combo

I don't mean to add fuel to the fire, but I am tracking about fifteen sites and the only one that suffered had adsense all over it. I don't use adsense on any of the others.

The one that dropped had many top ten keywords that dropped off as they almost completed de-indexed the site.

so sites with adsense will not be effected.
