View Full Version : Script for directory

I want to create a directory similar to http://sbd.bcentral.com/. Multiple links for each site, multiple categories for a site, and a profile (bussiness card pages) for each site. Need to have features for paid / free links too.

Does somebody know a directory script (free or paid) that can do something like that easily? I don't want to have to sit down and code my own...

I'm looking for the same thing. The only difference is, I want a directory that can actually pass PR and will actually show up as a backlink to the sites that I link to.

Is there a database driven directory script that will do this? It seams like there could be.

Gang, there are a few threads on DP about this. I would do a search for directory script and see what you come up with.

I believe uncoverthenet uses a script like what you are searching for.. If I'm not mistaken it's a modified version of the paid version of the bizdirectory script.

Well, if you want to make a donation, I'm sure I can add a couple of functions. The multiple links for each site would not be too difficult.

Hello :)

I've also found that phplinkdirectory.com is a very interesting choice... their development seems to be fast and they really hear the users! ...they're just releasing the final 2.0 version and it rocks.

You just can't get wrong to test it - it's free :D

Phplinkdirectory looks good, but what is the backend like?
Their site has a demo of the frontend only as far as I can see.
