I have a fitness site, and I want to improve my links. Can anyone suggest some quality free or pay sites where I can get links to my site? If I pay, I am only interested in permanent links.

My site is not commercial, no affiliate links, and has no google or YPM.

Thanks

If not make sure you will check it out...also you can visit this site www.linkmetro.com for link exchange, if you are interested in it..also..its just so simple type in in the google what are you looking for and you will find! ( but dont forget to look at everything with caution)

Well, I think my directories are of quality and I strive to make it that way, there are also a ton of us that we make quality a standard whether be a free listings or paid.

I will recommend one of mine:D Fitness (http://nwparks.net/Health/Fitness/)

If you need some free web directories then there is no specifica locationfor it .you will have to spend a lot of your time in search of these the best way to find it is google search and the first two or three links which will be shown search in them deeply...

Did you index to relevant directories ?
Did you write and publish articles related to your business and services?
Did you write and publish press releases relevant to your new business services?
Did you make a list of your industry competitors or indirect competitors?
Do you know who / where they receive links from ?

You could try to target your current situation with the questions mentioned above, I am sure it could help.

You can start in my LinkForever directory (http://www.linkforever.net/HealthFitness/Fitness/) under FITNESS category...
It's Pagerank=3 category.
If you suubmit Featured listing you can have 3 additional links
under your listing and Top position in this category.
