How does one get more backlinks from Yahoo? Sites that linked to you just need to be listed with Yahoo right?

You get more backlink in Yahoo same like any other search engines, more and more links from other sites.
Yahoo has actually got a more generous backlink system, its also updated more regularly than other search engines

I usually use iWebtool (http://www.iwebtool.com/backlink_checker)...If anyone uses a better one, I would also like to add it in the list :)

There are more tools at www.seochat.com, and www.backlinkwatch.com is good for finding backlinks. There's also Yahoo's own SiteExplorer (http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/).
I prefer MSN. See my article on researching links (http://www.katinkahesselink.net/internet/link-search-google.html).

Yeah, post many comments on blogs and you'll receive many, many links to your sites. Just leave great comments and you'll be A O.k. -- Also, forum signatures rule. As for backlink checking, feel free to add to the Backlink Tool (http://wiki.imarketingguru.com/index.php?title=Backlink_Tools_2.0) list.
