How Many Of You Adsense Guru's Get Fooled?

Hey DP,

I was just windering if you adsense guru's ever fall for an adense link?
I will have to say, i fell for a few good ones over the past few months. perfect blending, great use and extremely good design. How often does it happen to you?

no need for listing the sites,..but you can if you want. just wondering how often it happens to others.

Id say ive clicked on possibly 3-5 in the past 2 months not knowing it was adsense (relaizing after) and im all on reading about adsense. :p

i get caught all the time probably 3 to 5 times a week. I can just imagine new internet users.

Yeah, I click once or twice. But if I land on a site, and don't see ads, I,m like WTF?, and I start looking for them....

well, its not like that.. if the ad appeals me, I click on that. Simple.

I never click on them - I get caught when it's built into the navigation once in a while, though. After having an adsense account of my own, I've also found myself clicking on ads if I find a tool extra useful - just a way of saying thanks..

I guess all adsense publishers have kind of adsense blindness, when you just don't pay attention to adsense ads even if they're infront of you... thats why putting adsense on webmaster sites is amost totally useless

Agreed, I don't go out of my way to click or avoid ads. However, I usually do picture a smiling webmaster checking his stats when I do click one :)

i saw one site lately that use adslink that blend so nicely (it's near the top of the banner- well blend) I ALMOST click on it before i saw the word "ads by google".. hehe.

I have never been fooled, that I can recall...

There was this car site (with a picture of the car I was looking at and a link unit under), I ALMOST clicked it, but they couldn't get money out of me!! :D

I click ads whenever it appeals to me (i.e. I am interested on the topic link). It does not matter if it is well blended or not.

By doing so, I am able to satisfy 2 things:
1.) My hunger for information regarding the topic
2.) Helped my fellow webmaster to get his deserved adsense earnings

I don't really get fooled that much, but I almost did today on a site with AMAZING content and blending. I clicked just to reward them. ;)

Often though, I do see an ad for an appealing site and I click it.

Not often, but when I do, I jump on it! If it can fool me, then it will grab the average person for sure. It is actually the same thing as finding money!

I usually fall for it, if it's some thing to do with dedicated servers or tuts on how to get your pagerank higher. I just click them thinking they're part of the site, becuase they're blended in very well. ;)

i agree. their increasting in numbers,..but google is also cracking the whip a little harder.
