Looking for cms or blog that...

Hi guys,

I am looking for a cms or blog for publishing video streams or pictures....

That means it should at least have:
1. User management
2. Upload of articles with pictures or video streams included
3. Rating systems for all items
4. Comments


Any suggestions???

Hi,

the problem is that I found no cms that lets a user upload a picture or video stream directly within an article.

In most casses you are able to upload a picture to a gallery but not within an article.....

It is strange that there is no script around, because a lot of successfull sites operate with this kind of script

You can use Wordpress (http://wordpress.org/download/)with some plugins, WYSIWYG(based on Htmlarea) (http://wiki.wordpress.org/WYSIWYGII), and Rate-it Plugin (http://dev.wp-plugins.org/browser/rate-it/trunk/).

I am not looking for an html editor that enables you to include a picture with a hyperlink into your article or enables you to include a picture that has already been uploaded to your database or gallery.

Have a look how users are able to submit pictures to

and in the backend the admin should be able to aprove the publishing or disapprove...

A moth ago i've installed a WYSIWYG editor in wordpress that let you not only upload images, it also previews the actual files in the folder. All from the edit screen, i can't remember which was, but i'll post it here later. I really think it will fit your needings. and also you have Upload Manager Plugin (http://auyongtc.theuseless.com/wp-plugins/wp-upload-manager/) and also Image Browser (http://www.bistr-o-mathik.org/code/wordpress-plugins/)

Hi guys,

well I have tried nucleus and wordpress as well......but I am not satisfied with both.....

They all offer with some plugin the possibility to upload files or pictures or whatever....and then in the next step the user is able to create an article in which the uploaded picture is inclued if the user knows the location of the pic!

This is not user friendly in my opinion!!!

I am looking for a systems that lets a registered user upload a picture or video stream and an article (text) in one step!

This would also be very convenient for the admin because he has only to check the article including the upload for approval.

I haven't found a cms that supports the above requirements!
