Yahoo position

Hi all,
Two months ago i submitted my website both at yahoo and google. Yahoo in contrary to google appears my website at high position. Why that happens.
In addition I woould like to ask you about the percentage of yahoo as search engine in contrary to google again.

Again Short answer : They have their different algorithms. :)

My site on number twelve on yahoo for website directory keyword but in google it is far away from it !

Yahoo overtook Google as my top traffic source right before X mas. My Yahoo positions took a dip right after the New Year began. I'm sure it has something to do with people redesigning sites and maybe lost a few links. Nothing another month of link building can't fix.
